Trade Deadline and Outing

The trade deadline on November 19 is fast approaching, and you know what that means.  Yes!   The Trade Deadline outing.  This years outing will be held at 7:30pm at xxxxx.  This outing is planned WAY in advance, so we hope that everyone canmake it.

------------------------------------

Studs and Duds (thru Week 9)

Studs Aaron Rodgers and Matt Schaub - These two QBs are first and second in scoring with the big three right behind them.  Rodgers hasnt really helped Camel Toe win many games, but the Schaub pick is working out nicely for Ron Mexico. Chris Johnson - Chris Johnson slipped to the second round int he draft, but he is playing like the top pick...at least half the time.  Johnson has blown up for 50, 40 and 27 point weeks, but has also 5 weeks under 12 points. Ray Rice - Rice has produced consistently for Ron Mexico.  Even though McGahee stole some TDs early in the season, Rice has played liek an every week starter. Austin Miles - Miles was drafted by the Horde, dropped after 2 catches in three weeks, but the Horde bid on him after his 42 point explosion and has produced nicely since. Donald Driver - Driver is playing like a number one receiver even though Jennings is supposed to be the man.  Fox run is struggling, but its not because of Driver.... wait, maybe its because fox run only starts Driver half the time.  Hey Andrew, its time to believe. Vernon Davis - We all knew Dallas Clark was going to produce for the Horde, but how did that Horde wind up with the top two TEs.  Both are playing great.  No wonder the Horde has only used two flex starts and is in second place. Duds Brian Westbrook - Its hard to call him a dud just because he only plays in half his games, but it is what it is...just like every other year. Calvin Johnson - Megatron has missed 3 games due to injury and cant seem to get on track with his rookie QB.  He also has only one TD this season. LaDanian Tomlinson - Muffin Tops wanted LT to be the man this year, but 91 carries for 289 yards was not what the Muffin Man had in mind. The receiving crew drafted by Camel Toe - Camel Toe came out of the draft touting his receivers, but the foursome of Lee Evans, Eddie Royal, Lance Moore, and Antonio Bryant were all free agents before long.  Only Lee Evans was picked up by another team.

Standings (thru Week 9)
At 7-2 Ron Mexico is riding a 7 game win streak and is sitting in first place.  The Horde and Chopsticks are one game back and The Inmates and Fox Run are tied for 4th.  All Up In It started out with 3 wins a has since dropped 6 straight joining and Muffin Tops and the perennial loser Camel Toe at the bottom. Playoffs and playoff draft Everyone knows the top four teams make the playoffs.  The playoff re-draft will be held the week of January 4-8.  The 4th, 5th and 7th and BCS games, so not sure if we want to specifically choose on of those days or not. Mid season Leaders After 9 weeks, Ron Mexico's Return is leading with a 7-2 record and has the most points per week at 115.4.  He split the prize for best record after 8 weeks with Pho King Chopsticks.  All Up In It leads the league with 107.3 points against per week.

Details on Arrest RuleFrom this point forward, any player that is arrested and is a starter on your team that week will receive 20 bonus points.  “That week” is defined as the NFL week ending after the Monday Night game. Therefore, if a player is arrested on Sunday or Monday, the player would have to already be in your lineup, then he would receive the bonus.  If the player is arrested on Tuesday through Saturday, and is started the following Sunday, he will receive the bonus.  If details of the arrest come out after the week is complete (i.e. after the Monday Night Game), the arrest would be credited to the later week so that we do not have to go back and recalculate the stats for a matchup that is over.  Keep in mind that the commissioner must be notified of the arrest before the Monday Night game is complete in order to receive the bonus points.  Note: On a case by case basis and based on the rules above, the Commissioner will resolve all further questions in a fair and equitable manner from this point forward.
